<br /> .2 The scopes of Work,timing of solicitation of bids for the packages to meet the Construction Schedule; <br /> .3 Major coordination issues with other packages; <br /> .4 Means to enhance the opportunity for small business entities and minority-and women-owned businesses <br /> (as certified with the Washington State Office of Minority&Women's Business Enterprises under <br /> Chapter 39.19 RCW)to participate in performing the Work(e.g.,through development of multiple work <br /> packages); <br /> .5 The scope and cost estimates for each subcontract bid package. <br /> §3.1.12.2 The Construction Manager shall use its best efforts to develop the interest of Subcontractor bidders in the <br /> Project.The Construction Manager shall consider prebid determinations of Subcontractor eligibility to the extent <br /> permitted by statute and shall furnish to the Owner and Architect for their information as a part of the submittal of its <br /> Subcontracting Plan a list of possible eligible Subcontractors,including suppliers who are to furnish materials or <br /> equipment fabricated to a special design,from whom proposals will be requested for each principal portion of the Work. <br /> The Owner will promptly reply in writing to the Construction Manager if the Architect or Owner knows of any <br /> objection to such Subcontractor or supplier.The receipt of such list shall not require the Owner or Architect to <br /> investigate the qualifications of proposed Subcontractors or suppliers,nor shall it or the lack of any objection waive the <br /> right of the Owner or Architect later to object to or reject any proposed Subcontractor or supplier. <br /> §3.1.12.3(MCCM&ECCM)If the individual anticipated subcontract value exceeds$3 million,MCCM and ECCM <br /> will be considered utilizing an outline developed by the Construction Manager.The Construction Manager,Architect <br /> and Owner shall weigh the pros and cons of using MCCM and ECCM.The Owner shall decide if either or both <br /> methods are desired in accordance with RCW 39.10.385. <br /> §3.1.13 Long—Lead Time Procurement <br /> §3.1.13.1 The Construction Manager shall prepare,for the Architect's and Owner's review and the Owner's acceptance, <br /> and update at least monthly,a procurement schedule for items and/or associated services that must be ordered well in <br /> advance of construction.The Construction Manager shall expedite and coordinate the ordering and delivery of materials <br /> that must be ordered well in advance of construction.The Owner may authorize the Construction Manager to procure <br /> long-lead time items prior to the execution of the GMP Amendment in accordance with the authorization and procedure <br /> identified in RCW 39.10.370(2) <br /> §3.1.13.2 The Construction Manager shall identify and estimate the value of any items that require off-site storage, <br /> together with proposed locations for storage during the course of the Work acceptable to Owner.These locations shall <br /> be selected to provide a maximum of protection and minimum of cost and delay associated with delivery to the site and <br /> shall conform with the requirements of Section 7.1.3.5 of this Agreement. <br /> AIA Document A133- - 2019.
