• . <br /> l + <br /> ORDINANCE NO. - 7 3 0 <br /> An Ordinance approving and confirming the assessment <br /> and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 514 for the <br /> improvement of Hewitt Avenue from Grand Lvenue to brick pavement <br /> I:est of Nassau Street , by removal of old wood blocks and center <br /> strips of existing concrete pavement ; construction of one course <br /> Portland cement pavement, new concrete curbs; repairing concrete <br /> sidewalks as found necessary; installation of necessary drainage, <br /> and doing all other work in connection therewith to make a <br /> complete improvement , under Ordinance ITo. 2760 of the City of <br /> Everett ; levying an assessment on account thereof against the <br /> several lots , tracts and parcels of land or other property as <br /> shown on said roll, and providing for the issuance of bonds <br /> t herefor. <br /> T.HE CITY OF EVEF:ETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1 : That the assessment and assessment roll <br /> in Local Improvement District No. 514 for the improvement of <br /> Hewitt Avenue from Grand Avenue to brick pavement West of Nassau <br /> Street, by removal of old wood blocks and center strips of <br /> existing concrete pavement ; construction of one course Portland <br /> cement pavement , new concrete curbs; repairing concrete sidewalks <br /> as found necessary; installation of necessary drainage, and doing <br /> all other work in connection therewith to make a complete improve- <br /> ment under Ordinance No. 2760 of the City of Everett as the same <br /> now stands be, and the same is hereby in all things hereby <br /> apy-roved and confirmed. <br /> Section 2 : That each of the lots, tracts and <br /> parcels of land or other property as shown on said roll is <br /> hereby declared to be especially benefited by said improvement <br /> in at least the amount charged against the same, and that the <br /> assessment appearing against the same is in proportion to the <br /> several assessments appearing upon said roll, and there is <br /> hereby levied an assessment against each lot , tract end parcel <br /> of land and other property appearing on said roll the amount <br /> finally charged against the same thereon. <br /> Section 3: That the 30th day of Sept. , <br /> 1938, is hereby fixed as the date of the issuance of the bonds <br /> required to be issued on account of said improvement . <br /> Section 4: The City of Everett may sell said bonds <br /> and make payment in cash in the manner provided by the ordinances <br /> of said City. <br /> Mayor <br /> Attest : <br /> City Clerk �— <br /> Passed: - 1 o - 3 <br /> Published: ? - I I - 3 <br />
