A s <br /> ORDINANCE No. 2776 . <br /> AN ORDINANCE submitting to the legal voters of the City <br /> of Everett a proposed amendment to the Charter of the City of <br /> 'Everett with relation to the salaries of Commissioners, at a <br /> special municipal election to be held in the City of Jverett on <br /> the 13th day of September, 1938. <br /> TEL CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That a proposed amendment to Section 7 <br /> of the Charter of the City of Everett with reletion to salaries <br /> of Commissioners, be submitted to the legal voters of the City <br /> of Everett at a special municipal election to be held in said <br /> City on the 13th day of September, 1938. <br /> Section 2 : That Section 7 of the Charter of the <br /> City of Everett beariended to read as follows: <br /> Section 7 : SALARIES: <br /> The annual salary of each Commissioner shall be <br /> 2000.00 until the second secular day of January, 1940, and the <br /> annual salary of each Commissioner on and after the second <br /> secular day in January 1940 shall be $2700.00. The salary shall <br /> be paid in equal monthly installments. <br /> Section 3: That the form of the ballot to be used <br /> in said election shall be as follows: <br /> "AY ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR AN AP1 NDTY NT TO SECTION <br /> 7 OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF EVERETT. <br /> An Ordinance amending Section 7 of the Charter of the <br /> City of Everett and providing that the annual salary of each <br /> Commissioner shall be „,2000 .00 140442000100 until the second <br /> secular day in January 1940; that on and after the second secular d <br /> day of January 1940, the annual salary of each Commissioner shal <br /> be ''>2700.00. <br /> FOR THE ORDINANCE <br /> AGAINST THE ORDINANCE ( ) " <br /> Section 4: An emergency is declared to exist and <br /> this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and pubiicatioJ . <br /> Tja yor <br /> Attest: <br /> Clerk <br /> Passed: July 26th , 1933 . <br /> Published: July 27th , 1938 . <br />
