a s <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> 2775 <br /> AN ORDINANCE submitting to the legal voters of the City <br /> of Everett a proposed amendment to the Charter of the City of <br /> Everett providing that all payments authorized by the City Council <br /> shall be by warrants drawn upon the Treasurer, signed by the <br /> Commissioner of Finance and City Clerk, and relating to the pay- <br /> ment of said warrants and the duties of the Treasurer of the City <br /> of Everett, at a special municipal election to be held in the <br /> City of Everett on the 13th day of September, 1938. <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That a proposed amendment to Section <br /> 133 of the Charter of the City of Everett providing that all pay- <br /> ments authorized by the City Council shall be by warrants drawn <br /> upon the Treasurer, signed by the Commissioner of Finance and <br /> Clerk, and relating to the payment of such warrants and the <br /> duties of the Treasurer of the City of Everett, be submitted to <br /> the legal voters of the City of Everett at a special municipal <br /> election to be held on the 13th day of September, 1938. <br /> Section 2 : That Section 133 of the Charter of <br /> the City of Everett be amended so as to read as follows: <br /> Section 133: DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS: <br /> (a) All payments authorized by the Council shall <br /> be by warrants drawn upon the Treasurer, signed by the Commnissio -r <br /> of Finance and Clerk, and such warrants shall be paid in the order <br /> in which they are issued.
