The electrical inspection conducted by Inspector Steve Banks confirmed in greater detail the Unsafe Electrical <br /> conditions and Equipment present within the Structure, including but not limited to : <br /> The use of flexible electrical cords throughout the facility in an Unsafe and Unlawful manner. IPMC 605.4 . <br /> The lack of required GFCI outlets and circuits where required throughout the facility. <br /> Electrical equipment and wiring exposed to water from melting ice. <br /> Lack of working space for electrical equipment in various locations. <br /> Obvious tampering with and unpermitted alterations of the electrical system. <br /> Various electrical code violations too numerous to list defined as Unsafe Equipment per code. IPMC 108.1.2 <br /> 2. Poorly identified, miss identified, blocked exits, doors,and egress pathways. IPMC 702.1 <br /> Unlawful and Unsafe Egress door Hardware has been installed on doors throughout the Structure. IPMC 702.4 <br /> Fire Code violations as outlined by Fire Marshal Brown. <br /> 3. The structure has been altered from its original approved configuration without required permits.Walls have <br /> been removed and added, equipment installed,egress altered, roofed structures created, accessory structures <br /> installed, etc. all in violation of code. IPMC 108.1.4 <br /> 4. Land Use and Zoning code violations are present on the property as per Senior Planner Grace Pollard's <br /> observations and comments.This includes a detached accessory structure located on the North East parcel of <br /> property that has been Annexed into the commercial activity taking place on the site.This detached structure <br /> was observed to be deteriorated and structurally defective. With the apparent distinction that it is not allowed <br /> to be a stand alone structure under the Zoning Code on this portion of property.Thus an Unlawful and Unsafe <br /> Structure. IPMC 108.1.4 and 108.1.1 <br /> Because of the numerous life safety hazards and other code concerns present,the facility and building located at <br /> 9605 Evergreen Way Everett WA. is an Unlawful and Unsafe Structure as defined by Code. IPMC 108.1.1 and 108.1.4 <br /> Fire Marshal Brown has stated that his office will be pursuing acceptable emergency egress corrections and other <br /> measures to allow the facility to remain open until Abatement of the remaining outstanding Hazards and Violations <br /> occurs. <br /> Thank you for your efforts to consolidate the cities resources and staff to pursue compliance in this matter. <br /> Regards <br /> 1 ), <br />
