Troubleshooting Model: FSH-2, FSH-2A-99 <br /> Troubleshooti nk-im a <br /> This section describes troubleshooting procedures for the FSH-2, FSH-2A-99 Ventless Hoods. Refer to the wiring <br /> diagram provided with the unit as needed for more detailed analysis. <br /> • Electrical troubleshooting procedures should be performed ONLY by qualified service personnel. Death or <br /> serious injury will result from contact with energized electrical components. <br /> 601. Troubleshooting Procedures <br /> Hood will not turn ON a. Filter Access Cover not properly <br /> postioned & latched. Confirm cover properly positioned. <br /> b. START portion of power switch Press & momenterily hold START <br /> not held until hood starts portion of switch until blower starts. <br /> c. Power switch is faulty Replace switch. <br /> c. Improper supply voltage Connect to proper electrical supply. <br /> e. Not properly connected to power <br /> Confirm connections &correct. <br /> source. <br /> f. Blown fuse or tripped circuit Check fuse in hood or breaker at <br /> breaker. main electrical panel. <br /> [FILTER MISSING] light ON at start- <br /> a. Baffle or charcoal filter not Install filter and/or check filter <br /> up <br /> installed or not properly seated positioning inside hood. <br /> EAC [WASH] light ON & intermittent a. Excessive film build-up on fins Clean the EAC cell,Section 4.04.2 <br /> (beeping) alarm sounding b. EAC cell is not installed Install EAC cell <br /> c. Poor connection at contact plate <br /> Check cell position, clean contacts. <br /> inside hood. <br /> d. Faulty EAC contact plate Have plate inspected, replace if <br /> needed. <br /> e. Missing ionizer wires Replace wires, (9) required. <br /> EAC [CHECK] light ON; no alarm <br /> sounding a. EAC shorted to ground (damaged) Replace or repair the EAC cell. <br /> b. High voltage wires shorted to <br /> Correct shorted condition. <br /> ground. <br /> c. Collector fins shorted out due to Eliminiate condensation causes - cold <br /> excessive moisture. air being drawn into hood, etc. <br /> 45 <br />
