There is no existing decorative lighting circuit to splice to. A wire run will need to be shown all
the way back to the electrical service. Arrange a meeting with Steve Sawyer,City of Everett
Signal Supt,425-328-0643 in the field to determine the location of the service so a branch
breaker can be installed and new circuit installed. The
decorative poles including pole sub-assembly, decorative base sub-assembly, and decorative
twin arm sub-assembly, and lighting fixtures will need to be provided by the proponent. Powder
coating is Everett Green RAL 6012 color. Approved model is Visco VI-EVR9-EVR2-OCT/13'. No
GFI receptacle is required. For most current information about other available manufacturers,
proponent can contact Lighting Group Northwest, Ken Freed or Julie Jergens, for latest model
numbers. Past approved shop drawings are attached. ifJC-4 -?LRPA tD
c. Construction note 2 calls for a contractor provided 35' painted steel light pole. This pole will be
a "relocation" of the existing aluminum pole removed under construction note 6. The City will
store the removed light standard at its Railway Ave Yard and provide the proponent with a new
or near-new pole when ready to be installed. The construction note 2 should make reference to
this being a relocated aluminum pole with a 12' mast arm and fixture. It will not be painted, but
spun aluminum finish like the other poles on the block face. The note 2 should also make
reference that the contractor will need to verify anchor bolt dimensions prior to pouring the
foundation, because the pole that will be provided by the City may not have the exact same
dimensions at the existing pole. The City will retain the old pole for future knock downs, but
because it is not in mint condition and would look out of place in a new development, the City
will be providing one of superior condition. 3- NC_cRP o'Rt41EP
d. The existing Type 2 junction box for the flashing beacon overhead assembly will need to be
replaced with a new box with non-slip lid and frame if it does not already have one. A
construction note would be added in this case.
