The submittal documents are required to include the AFH checklist.The checklist should include <br /> a floor plan on 8.5x11 paper per Section 3.This floor plan appears to be missing from the submittal <br /> documents. "Added" <br /> 2. The sleeping rooms in the adult family home should be labeled with the classification of the room. <br /> See IRC Section R330.3 for more information. "Room classifications added to the 8.5 X 11 sheet. <br /> 3. Foundation and framing information should be provided for the new ramp. R507.3, R507.5, <br /> R507.6, R106.1.1 "Added framing&Foundation details" <br /> 4. It appears that the new egress path is through the sliding glass door located at the kitchen. The <br /> egress door should be side-hinged and not less than a clear width of 32 inches per IRC Section <br /> R311.2. "Plan note added to the building plan to replace with a new French Door" <br /> 5. It appears that the code references provided on the plans for grab bars reference the 2015 IRC. <br /> Code references should be updated to the current 2018 IRC. "Updated to the current 2018 IRC" <br /> 6. A note regarding the grabs bars to have a structural strength of 250 pounds applied at any point <br /> on the grab bar, fastener, mounting device or supporting structural member should be added to <br /> the plans.
