The comments below <br /> must be addressed before a permit can be issued. These comments address building issues only. <br /> Additional comments may be issued by the Public Works, Planning, and Fire departments. <br /> Code citations provided in the following review comments reference the 2018 International <br /> Residential Code (IRC). Amendments to the adopted building codes by Washington Administrative <br /> Code (WAC) Title 51 are incorporated into the referenced code citations. Citations provided in the <br /> comments reference the IRC unless noted otherwise. The codes, including WAC amendments <br /> where applicable, can be viewed using the following links: <br /> • 2018 IRC: https://up.codes/viewer washin ton/wa-residential-code-2018 <br /> • WAC: https://apps.leq.wa.gov/wac/default.aspx?cite=51. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, the following documentation shall be <br /> submitted to Permit Services for review: <br /> a. Itemized letter addressing the comments provided below. <br /> b. Two complete sets of revised construction drawings. <br /> Submittal documents should contain sufficient information and detail to review the proposed project <br /> for compliance with the adopted building codes. Upon submittal of the revised documents, your <br /> application will be given priority and the review will recommence. <br /> Structural <br /> 1. The submitted plans currently show existing concrete pier blocks to be used with connection to <br /> the new 6"x6" PT post. The concrete pier shown does not satisfy footing requirements.
