Handrail detail should only be required for new stairs and have been added. <br /> .3. The rooms in the basement are not labeled bedrooms because they are not bedrooms. The client purchased the house with it as it is. <br /> This seems work is outside the scope of the code enforcement as far as I can tell. It has <br /> never been the policy of any city I have worked with to make a new owner account for all <br /> previous modifications to a one hundred year old home unless there is a life safety issue. <br /> We will note it as new per your request. <br /> Structural: <br /> .1. Noted. <br /> 2. Schedule added. <br /> .3. Not sure what proprietary details we have shown here. No changes resulted from this comment. <br /> 4.
