Please review and respond to the comments below. <br /> 1. Please refer to the attached City of Everett residential submittal checklist for the minimum <br /> requirements for the site plan and construction drawings. Items circled were not provided and are <br /> required for this project. <br /> 2. All architectural drawings submitted for permit shall be not less than%"= 1'-0" scale and use <br /> standard architectural symbols for doors,walls,windows,fans,smoke alarms, stairs and handrails. <br /> 3. Stairs (interior and exterior) with 4 or more risers shall have a handrail.Show all required handrails <br /> on plans and specify height above tread nosing, diameter and placement,ends shall be returned or <br /> terminate in newel posts or safety terminals.Show on plans <br /> 4. Define the thermal envelope. If basement is heated it is required to be insulated. If the basement is <br /> not heated the floor above the basement,the stairwell walls,stringers and the door to the <br /> basement are required to be insulated. <br /> 5. Unheated attics above conditioned areas are required to be insulated with minimum R-49 in attics. <br /> 6. Provide section drawing of the attic area to show the thickness of the cavities that will be insulated <br /> and the ceiling height of all habitable spaces. <br /> 7. Roof rafters above heated spaces are required to be insulated to the maximum depth of the framing <br /> cavity while maintaining a minimum 1-inch clear air space over the insulation for ventilation. Specify <br /> the insulation proposed for this location.Show on plans. <br /> 8. Walls separating an attic from a living space are required to be insulated with minimum R21 <br /> insulation. See#6 above. <br /> 9. The basement floor plan shall clearly define the spaces using standard architectural symbols to show <br /> walls and doors.Show crawl space access. <br /> 10. Label the basement as"Uninhabitable Space". See#4 above. <br /> 11. Specify size and location of all exhaust fans. Provide minimum 50CFM Fan in Bathrooms,Toilet <br /> Rooms and Laundry Rooms.
