Subject: Geotechnical Engineering and Geoenvironmental Scope of Work River Point Geotechnical Study Everett, Washington Dear Ryan: As requested, HWA GeoSciences Inc. (HWA) is pleased to present this proposed scope and budget for geotechnical services associated with the River Point Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Study Project in Everett, Washington. This scope of work is based on our understanding of the project and our conversations. PROJECT UNDERSTANDING It is our understanding that the City of Everett has plans to develop the River Point site, located along the Snohomish River. A number of previous geotechnical and geoenvironmental studies have been completed across the project site. The city would like HWA to compile and analyze the existing data and determine the anticipated geotechnical and environmental challenges. Based on our understanding of the project objectives, HWA proposes the following geotechnical engineering and geoenvironmental services scope of work for the project. GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES SCOPE The proposed work will include the following tasks: Geotechnical Project Setup: • Project Setup: HWA will initiate the project and set up billing information in support of invoicing throughout the project. • Review Available Geotechnical Data: HWA will review readily available geotechnical information in the vicinity of the project site. This review will include online geotechnical databases, geologic maps, and information included on the City of Everett's SharePoint site.
