<br /> ORDINANCE No. 2769
<br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Section 50 of Ordinance No. 2513,
<br /> as amended by Ordinance No. 2724 , of the City of Everett , en-
<br /> titled as follows.:
<br /> "An Ordinance relating to , and providing for,
<br /> the licensing and regulating of certain occupations,
<br /> businesses , vocations, trades , callings, amusements ,
<br /> places of amusements , exhibitions , entertainments,
<br /> animals, motor vehicles, places and establishments,
<br /> defining offenses, providing penalties; providing
<br /> for the revocation and suspension of licenses,
<br /> repealing Ordinances No. 2196, 853, 1301 , 1503, 1583,
<br /> 1585 , 1595, 1598, 1771 , 1851 , 1932, 1941 , 1948, 1964 ,
<br /> 2087 , 2182, 2249, 2333, 2370 and 2038, and all other
<br /> ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict therewith, "
<br /> and declaring an emergency.
<br /> TIE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN:
<br /> Section 1: That Section 50 of Ordinance No. 2513,
<br /> as amended by Ordinance No. 2724 , of the City of Everett , be ,
<br /> and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
<br /> Section 50 : It shall be unlawful for any person,
<br /> firm or corporation to operate any motor truck, motor truck
<br /> trailer or motorcycle , or cause the same to be operated in
<br /> either the dray or transfer business , within the limits of the
<br /> City of Everett , without having first obtained a dray license
<br /> from the City Clerk , and having paid to the City Treasurer
<br /> therefor a license fee , which shall be as follows:
<br /> For each truck 45.00
<br /> For each Four-wheel trailer 5.00
<br /> For each Two-wheel trailer 2. 50
<br /> For each Motorcycle 5.00
<br /> One of the license plates procured from the City Clerk
<br /> shall be attached to the left side of said vehicle , and the other
<br /> to the right side of said vehicle , and attached in such manner
<br /> that they will be conspicuous and plainly seen and read at all
<br /> times, State license number of such vehicle to be recorded at
<br /> the time when dray license is issued by City Clerk.
<br /> Each person, firm or corporation operating said
<br /> trucas or motorcycles shall procure for each truck or motor-
<br /> cycle property damage insurance in the sum of One Thousand
<br /> Dollars ( 51 ,000.00) and liability insurance in the sum of
<br /> Five Thousand Dollars (45 ,000.00) , from an insurance company
<br /> licensed to write such insurance in the State Each, and every
<br /> person , firm or corporation operating such trucks shall 4gPosit
<br /> with the City Clerk a receipt showing the payment of the
<br /> insurance premium on such insurance policies.
