<br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Section 117 of Ordinance No.
<br /> 2513, and Section 120 of Ordinance No. 2513, as amended by
<br /> Ordinance No. 2714 , of the amity of Everett , entitled as follows:
<br /> "An Ordinance relating to , and providing for,
<br /> the licensing and regulating of certain occupations ,
<br /> businesses, vocations , trades, callings, amusements,
<br /> places of amusement , exhibitions, entertainments,
<br /> animals, motor vehicles, places and establishments;
<br /> defining offenses; providing penalties; providing
<br /> for the revocation and suspension of licenses; repeal-
<br /> ing Ordinances No. 2196, 853, 1301, 1503, 1583, 1585 ,
<br /> 1595, 1598, 1771 , 1851 , 1932, 1941 , 1948, 1964, 2087,
<br /> 2182, 2249, 2333, 2370 and 2032, and all other
<br /> ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, "
<br /> and declaring an emergency.
<br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN:
<br /> Section 1: That Section 117 of Ordinance No. 2513
<br /> of the City of Everett be , and the same is hereby amended to
<br /> read as follows:
<br /> Section 117: For the purposes of this ordinance a
<br /> hotel shall mean every building or structure kept, used or
<br /> maintained as, or advertised as, or held out to the public
<br /> to be an inn, hotel or public lodging house or place where
<br /> sleeping accommodations are furnished to the public for hire,
<br /> in periods of less than One (1) week , in which our (4) or
<br /> more rooms are used for sleeping accommodation of guests.
<br /> Section 2: ihat Section 120 of ordinance No.
<br /> 2513, as amended by Ordinance .No. 2714, of the ' ity of Everett
<br /> be , and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
<br /> Section 120 : The license fee for keeping , conduct-
<br /> ing, maintaining or operating any hotel in the Oity of Everett •
<br /> shall be Five Dollars ( 5.00) per year, and in addition thereto
<br /> Fifty Cents (5071 per year for each room over Six (6) in any
<br /> hotel.
<br /> Section 3: An emergency is declared to exist and
<br /> this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication.
