AN ORDINANCE authorizing and directing the conveyance by the amity of Nverett to the Norwegian Lutheran Church of aaerica., a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Minnesota, a certain tract of land designated as Tract A, and described as follows : Beginning at the Southwest corner of Northwest <,uarter (NWT:) of Section Thirty-one (31) , Township Twenty-nine (29) North, Range Five (5) East W. M; thence Northerly along Section line 416. 57 feet to point of beginning; thence angle to right and parallel with South line of Northwest uarter of Section Thirty-one (31) , Township Twenty-nine (29) North, Range Five (5) East W. I. , for a distance of 1 ,554.07 feet; thence angle left 89° 40 ' for a distance of 198. 78 feet; thence angle to the left 97° 37 ' to point of beginning , containing 3.55 • acres, more or less, situate in the County of Snohomish, State of Washington, in exchange for a certain tract of land to be conveyed by said Norwegian Lutheran 'hurch of America to the City of Everett, and designated as Tract B, which tract is described as follows: Beginning at the Southeast corner of the Northwest Quarter (NW-) of Section Thirty-one (31) , Township Twenty-nine (29) North, Range Five (5) East W.- M. ; thence No rtherly along Section line a distance of 941.57 feet; thence angle to left 90°23 ' for a dis- tance of360.04 feet to point of beginning; thence continuing on same straight line ford a distance of 57.82 feet; thence angle to left 89 40 ' for 150 feet; thence angle to right 89° 40 ' for a distance of 411.89 feet; thence angle to left 89° 40 ' a distance of 121 feet; thence angle to right 89° 40 ' for a distance of 243. 24 feet; thence angle to left 89° 40 ' for a distance of 46.01 feet; thence angle left 97° 37 ' for a distance of 715. 3 feet; thence Northerly to point of beginning, containing 1. 56 acres, more or less , situate in the County of Snohomish, State of Washington, AND WHEREAS, the Park Board of the City of Everett has recommended to the City Council of Everett that said exchange be made; and HEREAS, it appears to the City Council of Everett , that it is advisable and advantageous that that certain tract of land referred to as Tract A, and hereinabove described, now belonging to the city of Everett as a part of Forest Park, be conveyed to the Norwegian Lutheran Church of America in exchange for that certain other tract above described and referred to as Tract B, which tract shall be conveyed by said Norwegian Lutheran Church of America to Everett , a munici- pal corporation , in exchange for Tract A, and declaring an emergency.
