. -a <br /> ORDINANCE No. 2735 <br /> • <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Sections 16 and 36 of ordinance <br /> No. 2707 of the City of Everett , entitled as follows: <br /> "An Ordinance fixing and determining the number <br /> of the various officers, assistants, deputies and <br /> employees of the City of Everett, prescribing the <br /> duties of such officers, assistants, deputies and <br /> employees, fixing their salaries and repealing <br /> Ordinances No. 2483, 2627, 2644 , 2667 , 2674 , 2677 <br /> and 2685 , " <br /> and declaring an emergency. <br /> TIE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Section 16 of Ordinance <br /> 2707 of the City of Everett be , and the same is hereby <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> Section 16: PARK DEPARTMENT. <br /> There shall be in the office of the Park Department <br /> the following named officers, assistants and laborers, to-wit : <br /> One uperintendent ; One Assistant Superintendent; <br /> One gardener; five laborers and one secretary. <br /> The Park Department shall be under the general <br /> charge and supervision of the superintendent. The other <br /> employees shall perform such duties as pertain to the <br /> nature of their office and as authorized and directed by the <br /> park superintendent. <br /> Section 2: That Section 36 of ordinance Eo. <br /> 2707 of the Uity of Everett be , and the same is hereby <br /> amended to - read as follows: <br /> Section 36. raRK DEP.ARTi ENT. <br /> Superintendent 4175.00 per mo. <br /> Assistant Superintendent 145.00 per mo. <br /> Gardener 5.00 per day <br /> Laborers 4.50 per day <br /> Secretary 5.00 per mo. <br /> Section 3: An emergency is declared to exist <br /> and this ordinance shall take effect on August 1st, 1937. <br /> Mayor <br /> Attest : <br /> _--city Clerk <br /> Passed: July 27 , 1937 <br /> Published.Iuly �g , 1937 <br />
