I • ORDFNANCE No . 2725 ArT ORDIFA?CE creating a City Street `und pursuant to Sections 60 to 65 inclusive , of Chapter 187 of the Session Laws of the State of Washington for the year 1937 , said law being known as the Washington State Aid Iiighway act; appropriat- ing money for said fund and providing that all expenditures of the 'amity for t .ie construction, alteration , repair and maintenace of the city streets of the City of Everett to be paid for by the City of Everett shall be paid from said fund , and declaring an emergency. THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That there is hereby created a fund to be known as the City Street Fund, said fund being created pur- suant to Sections 60 to 65 inclusive of the Session Laws of the State of Avashington for the year 1937 , being known as the 'va.suinton State Aid Highway Act. Section 2: Said fund shall be credited with all moneys received from the State of d .slington from the motor vehicle fund , said sum from April 1 , 1937 to December 31 , 1937 , amounting to ;)b6 ,489. 34. Section 3: There is hereby credited to said City Street Fund and appropriated from the general current expense fund of Everett the sum of 41 ,096.00 , sdd sum being the unexpended balance budgeted for the street fund for 1937. Section 4 : That said sums are hereby appropriated for the construction , alteration , repair , improvement or maintenance of the city streets of tie City of Everett for the periodbeginning April 1, 1937 and ending December 31 , 1937 , and all expenditures for said purposes shall be paid by warrants drawn on said fund. Section 5: An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication. Attest : City Clerk Passed: June 1st , 1937 . Published : June 1st , 1937
