GeoTest Services, Inc.
4320 Thomson Avenue, Everett, WA
I&L& =
Image 3: 2009 Aerial Photo. Taken from Google Earth.
April 12, 2019
Project No. 19-0050
1
The 1990 aerial photo (Image 2) appears to indicate that land use within the subject
and adjacent properties has remained relatively unchanged within the last 28 years.
Since 1990, new single-family residences have been constructed upslope from the
subject property, and some vegetation has been removed from the slope.
There does not appear to be any noticeable signs of large-scale "global" instability on
or just west of the subject property, as observed in the reviewed aerial photos
spanning 28 years. Please note that the aerial photos may not fully depict actual
surface conditions due to the tree canopy and/or other vegetation possibly obscuring
the ground surface.
Bare Earth Imagery Review
GTS reviewed bare earth imagery of the site vicinity, subject property, and slope.
Based on a review of this imagery, there does not appear to be any visible indications
of tension cracks or large-scale head scarps associated with slope instability. Outside
of the general topographic profile of the slope, no signs of large scale "global"
instability on the subject property were observed in our bare earth imagery review.
Please note that not all signs of slope instability can be observed in the bare earth
imagery review due to imagery resolution and scale. In addition, any signs of instability
on the site slopes that have occurred within the last -5 years, if present, have occurred
after original imagery acquisition.
5
