<br /> An Ordinance amending Section 50 of Ordinance No.
<br /> 2513 known as the "License Code" as amended by Ordinance No.
<br /> 2690 , entitled as follows:
<br /> "AN ORDINA1eCE relating to and providing for the
<br /> licensing and regulating of certain occupations,
<br /> businesses, vocations , trades, callings, amusements,
<br /> places of amusement , exhibitions, entertainments ,
<br /> animals, motor vehicles, places and establishments;
<br /> defining offenses , providing penalties; providing for
<br /> the revocation of licenses; repealing Ordinances
<br /> No. 2196, 853, 1301 , 1503, 1588, 1585, 1595, 1598,
<br /> 1771. 1851, 1932, 1941, 1.948, 1964 , 2087, 2182, 2249,
<br /> 2333, 2370 and 2038, and all other ordinances or parts
<br /> of ordinances in conflict therewith. "
<br /> and declaring an emergency.

<br /> THE CITY OF Z.VERETT DOES ORDAIN:
<br /> Section 1: That Section 50 of Ordinance No. 2513,
<br /> of the City of Everett, as amended by Ordinance No. 2690 , be,
<br /> and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
<br /> Section 50 : It shall be unlawful for any person,
<br /> firm or corporation to operate any motor truck or motor truck
<br /> trailer, or cause either of the same to be operated in the dray
<br /> or transfer business within the limits of the City of Everett
<br /> without having first obtained a dray license from the: City
<br /> Clerk , and having paid to the City Treasurer therefor a
<br /> license fee , which shall be as follows:
<br /> For each truck 45.00
<br /> For each Four-wheel trailer 5.00
<br /> For each Two-wheel trailer 2.50
<br /> One of the license plates procured from the City
<br /> Clerk shall be attached to the left side of said vehicle, and
<br /> the other to the right side of said vehicle, and attached in
<br /> such manner that they will be conspicuous and plainly seen
<br /> and read at all times, State license number of such vehicle to be
<br /> recorded at the time when dray license is issued by City Clerk .
<br /> Each person, firm or corporation operating said
<br /> trucks shall procure for each truck, property damage
<br /> insurance in the sum of One Thousand Dollars ( .1,000.00)
<br /> and liability insurance in the sum of Five Thousand Dollars
<br /> ( ,5 ,000.00) , from an insurance company licensed to write such
