I [ 4 � ORDINA:3CE No. 2722 AN ORDII z.TCE providing for the improvement of the alley in Block 613, Rucker ' s First Addition to the City of Everett, by grading to proper grade , construction of Six inch one course Portland Cement concrete pavement Twenty-four feet wide; installation of necessary drainage; doing all other work necessary to make a complete improvement, creating an assessment district, creating a local improvement district fund therefor; providing for the payment of said improvement be made by special assessment on the oroperty in said district under the mode of payment by bonds for' the entire cost of said improvement , including fixed estimate. WHEREAS, a majority petition of the property owners, petitioning for said improvement has heretofore been filed with the City Council and upon examination thereof said City Council has found the things set forth to be true; and vF ;REcS, the said petition has been referred to the Commissioner of ruolic 'Works to be examined by the said Commissioner and the City Engineer, and the Commissioner of Public 4orlcs has filed with the City Council all data and information required by law; and WHEREAS, said Commissioner of Public Works has recommended to the City Council that said improvement pet . tiont d for be made , and it aooearing to the City Council that the public health, convenience and necessity require such improvement be made. NOW, T 111701C'._<E, the City of Everett does ordain: Section 1: T Pet the alley in Block 613 pucker 's First Addition to the City of Everett be improved by grading to proper grade; construction of Six inch one course Portland Cement concrete pavement Twenty-four feet wide; installation of necessary drainage and doing all other work necessary to make a complete improvement according to the plans and specifications prepared under the direction of the City Engineer, which plans are hereby adopted and a :yroved. SECTION 2: That the cost and expense of all of said improvement shall be borne IT end assessed against the property included in the assessment district herein created, in accordance with law. The City of Everett shall not be liable in any manner except as provided in Lhapter 141 Session Laws of 1923, or acts amendatory thereto, and the ordinance's of the City of Everett.
