I have also added comments to <br /> your email below in red. <br /> 1. Please note for the following discussion regarding possible unpermitted work, we are <br /> not requiring action at this time. The owner should be advised of these conditions, <br /> and we recommend the owner pursue obtaining permits to ensure that the condition <br /> of the existing house is legal and safe. Note that documenting the existing portions of <br /> the house as "existing" in this current permit application for the addition do not <br /> constitute legitimizing any construction that was previously performed without <br /> permits. <br /> Findings: The existing house appears to potentially have unpermitted work, notably <br /> on the west side for the entryway and small bump-out of the family room.
