The proposed project involves converting a single-family residence into an adult family home(AFH). The <br /> submitted documents included the required AFH checklist. The checklist however is incomplete. It should <br /> include a floor plan on 8.5x11 paper per Section 3. Sections 1, 2, and 4 have already been completed. Please do <br /> not complete Section 5. Please provide the 8.5x11 floor plan. <br /> 2. The plans submitted appear to be resubmitted from permit B2010-066 issued on 6/25/2021 and finaled on <br /> 4/4/2022. This includes the level 1 floor plan prior to the garage conversion. Please resubmit plans only <br /> showing the alterations for the proposed change to an Adult Family Home. <br /> ✓3. Per IRC 330.3, please provide the sleeping room classification. In addition, each bedroom/sleeping room should <br /> be labeled A, B, C,D, etc... <br /> 4. Smoke and CO alarms should be provided per IRC Sections R314 and R315. The locations of all alarms should be <br /> shown on the plans. The alarms should be hardwired, interconnected,and provided with back-up battery power <br /> as required. <br /> /5. Habitable rooms should not have a floor area less than 70 square feet and should not be less than 7' in any <br /> horizontal direction. Please provide room dimensions where applicable.See IRC Sections R304.1& R304.2. <br /> If you would like, you can schedule an in-person or virtual appointment in order to further discuss the plans <br /> and corrections needed for approval. Alternatively, you can email me the corrections noted on the attached <br /> plans (I have attached both the blank floor plan and my plan with red lines).
