• •
Drew Martin
From: Drew Martin
Sent: Friday,July 16, 2021 1:37 PM
To: 'balharpreet@gmail.com'
Subject: City of Everett Permit Services: 2225 100th Street SE (BW2012-004) - Second Building
Intake Review
Attachments: BW2012-004_IR-1.pdf; City of Everett - Residential Drawing Preparation.pdf
Hello, Mr. Harpreet.
We have reviewed the revised construction plans. They generally have not addressed the comments provided in the
first intake review letter;the letter is attached again for your use.
The building has experience significant unpermitted architectural and structural modifications. Revised construction are
required that show all new construction, including previously unpermitted construction; see the attached document for
more information. Regarding Comment#5, publicly available aerial photography shows that the roof for the master
bedroom area was overframed in 2014; a permit history is not available for either the original construction nor the roof
overframing for the master bedroom area. The drawings should clearly distinguish between new and existing
construction; the wall line weights are not sufficiently different to distinguish. More walls should be shown as new
construction that are presently indicated, including exterior walls that have been modified as identified in the
comments. See also the reports and photography under Code Enforcement File No. CE20-0745.
Revised construction drawings addressing all of the initial intake comments should be submitted for review. The
drawings should include framing plans, particularly for but not limited to the roof. As noted, these are preliminary
comments; additional comments may be pending upon review of the revised drawings. In addition, the submitted
drawing quality is blurry and not printed at the original scale;two copies of clear, full size drawings should be provided.
Drew Martin, P.E.,S.E.
EsAssociate Engineer—Commercial Plans Examiner I Permit Services
425.257.8813 13200 Cedar Street, 2"d Floor, Everett,WA 98201
EVERETT Hours: M/W/Th/F: 7:30am-12:00pm & 1:00pm-3:00pm;Tu: 1:O0pm-3:00pm
everettwa.gov I Facebook I Twitter
1
