• A, <br /> ORDINANCE No. 2684 <br /> AN aaDINAI!GE fixing the amount of bonds to be given <br /> by certain officials of the City of Everett for the faithful <br /> performance of their duties, and repealing Ordinances No. <br /> 2356 and o. 2547, and declaring an emergency. <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That each of the following officers of <br /> the City of Everett is hereby required to give bond to the <br /> City of Everett for the faithful performance of his duties, <br /> in the following amounts: <br /> City Treasurer 4,50,000.00 <br /> Deputy City Treasurer 5, 000.00 <br /> Assistant Deputy Treasurer 5, 000.00 <br /> Cashier of "Etter Department 1,000.00 <br /> Assistant Cashier of .later Department 1, 000.00 <br /> Clerk, Police Court 1,000.00 <br /> City Clerk 1, 000.00 <br /> Deputy city Clerk 1, 000.00 <br /> Chief of Fire Department 1, 000.00 <br /> Chief of Police Department 1, 000.00 <br /> Pound Easter 1, 000.00 <br /> Section 2: That each of the following officers <br /> of the City of .Lverett is hereby required to give bond to the <br /> City of Everett , for the faithful performance of his duties, <br /> in the following amounts: <br /> water Superintendent , 1, 000.u0 <br /> city Attorney 1, 000.00 <br /> Police Judge 1,000.30 <br /> Provided, that none of the officers in this section mentioned <br /> shall be required to give a bond to the City of _Everett after <br /> the expiration of the annual bond of each of said officers now <br /> on file with the City of Everett, out said bonds of said <br /> respective officers shall remain in full force and effect until <br /> said time. <br /> Section 3: That Ordinances No. 2356 and -o. 2547 <br /> be, and the same are hereby repealed. <br /> Section 4: That an emergency is declared to exist <br /> and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and <br /> publication. <br /> Mayor <br /> Attest: <br /> City clerk <br /> Passed: May 5th, 1936. <br /> Published: Kay 6 th, 1936. <br />
