ORDINANCE NO. 2676 . <br /> An Ordinance amending Section 4 and Section 11 of Ordi- <br /> nance No. 2483, entitled as follows: <br /> "An Ordinance fixing and determining the number <br /> and designations of the various officers, assistants, <br /> deputies and employees of the city of Everett, pre- <br /> scribing the duties of such officers , assistants , <br /> deputies and employees, fixing their salaries and <br /> repealing Ordinance No. 2427 and all other Ordinances <br /> in conflict herewith" <br /> as amended by Ordinance No. 2627 of the city of Everett, and <br /> declaring an emergency: <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Section 4 of Ordinance No. 2483 as amend- <br /> ed by Ordinance No. 2627 be amended to read as follows, to-wit: <br /> Section 4; There shall he the following officers and assist- <br /> ants in the Health Department, to-wit: One Health Officer, <br /> one Deputy Health Officer, one Milk and Food Inspector, one Meat <br /> Inspector, and one Clerk and Stenographer (part time) . It <br /> shall be the duty of the Deputy Health Officer, Milk and Food <br /> Inspector, Meat Inspector, and Clerk and Stenographer to perform <br /> the duties pertaining to said department under the direction of <br /> the Health Officer and the Commissioner of Public Safety. <br /> Section 2: That Section 11 of Ordinance No. 2483, as am- <br /> ended by Ordinance No. 2627, be amended to read as follows, to- <br /> wit: Section 11: There shall be in the office of the Employ- <br /> ment Department the following named officers, to-wit: Employ- <br /> ment Officer (part time) and Deputy Employment Officer (part <br /> time) . It shall be the duty of such officers to maintain and <br /> do all work in connection with the maintenance and operation of <br /> the city employment bureau and to maintain such bureau in such <br /> manner and to make such reports as the Commissioner of Public <br /> Works may authorize or direct.
