ORDINANCE NO. 2676 . An Ordinance amending Section 4 and Section 11 of Ordi- nance No. 2483, entitled as follows: "An Ordinance fixing and determining the number and designations of the various officers, assistants, deputies and employees of the city of Everett, pre- scribing the duties of such officers , assistants , deputies and employees, fixing their salaries and repealing Ordinance No. 2427 and all other Ordinances in conflict herewith" as amended by Ordinance No. 2627 of the city of Everett, and declaring an emergency: THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Section 4 of Ordinance No. 2483 as amend- ed by Ordinance No. 2627 be amended to read as follows, to-wit: Section 4; There shall he the following officers and assist- ants in the Health Department, to-wit: One Health Officer, one Deputy Health Officer, one Milk and Food Inspector, one Meat Inspector, and one Clerk and Stenographer (part time) . It shall be the duty of the Deputy Health Officer, Milk and Food Inspector, Meat Inspector, and Clerk and Stenographer to perform the duties pertaining to said department under the direction of the Health Officer and the Commissioner of Public Safety. Section 2: That Section 11 of Ordinance No. 2483, as am- ended by Ordinance No. 2627, be amended to read as follows, to- wit: Section 11: There shall be in the office of the Employ- ment Department the following named officers, to-wit: Employ- ment Officer (part time) and Deputy Employment Officer (part time) . It shall be the duty of such officers to maintain and do all work in connection with the maintenance and operation of the city employment bureau and to maintain such bureau in such manner and to make such reports as the Commissioner of Public Works may authorize or direct.
