2641 An Ordinance providing for an emergency expenditure for the employment of necessary help to prepare plans and specifications, do field work, etc . for delivery of water from the City Main to the new Weyerhaeuser Pulp Mill on Bayside, appropriating ?2500.00 therefor, and providing for issuance of emergency warrants therefor, in payment of such services and for said plans out of the :Water Department receipts and declaring an emergency. THE CITY OF EVER TT DOES ORDAIN: -Section 1: That a public emergency exists and that the amount of the expenditure therefor could not reasonably be foreseen at the time of making the Budget for the year 1935, (to-wit in October, 1934) that said emergency has been caused by the immediate necessity of employing help to prepare plans and specifications and do field work for the installation of a city main to deliver water to the new Weyerhaeuser Pulp Mill on Bayside . That the amount of money required to meet such emergency is in the es- timated sum of Two Thousand Five Hundred ($2,500.00) Dollars, and said amount is hereby appropriated to cover emergency. Section 2: That there is hereby appropriated out of the revenues of the Water Department of the City of Everett , not in the Budget , the sum of Two Thousand Five Hundred ( 2,500.00) Dollars to pay said emergency expendi- tures, which said warrant or warrants shall be paid by the issuance of emer- gency warrants on said City Water Department revenues by the proper officers of -Everett as provided by law. Section 3: That it appearing that this ordinance and said appropria- tions are necessary for the good of the city of Everett, an emergency is hereby declared to exist bringing it within Section 6 of Chapter 158, of the Laws of Washington 1923, and this ordinance shall take effect immedi- ately upon its passage and publication.
