2641 <br /> An Ordinance providing for an emergency expenditure for the employment <br /> of necessary help to prepare plans and specifications, do field work, etc . <br /> for delivery of water from the City Main to the new Weyerhaeuser Pulp Mill <br /> on Bayside, appropriating ?2500.00 therefor, and providing for issuance of <br /> emergency warrants therefor, in payment of such services and for said plans <br /> out of the :Water Department receipts and declaring an emergency. <br /> THE CITY OF EVER TT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> -Section 1: That a public emergency exists and that the amount of the <br /> expenditure therefor could not reasonably be foreseen at the time of making <br /> the Budget for the year 1935, (to-wit in October, 1934) that said emergency <br /> has been caused by the immediate necessity of employing help to prepare plans <br /> and specifications and do field work for the installation of a city main to <br /> deliver water to the new Weyerhaeuser Pulp Mill on Bayside . <br /> That the amount of money required to meet such emergency is in the es- <br /> timated sum of Two Thousand Five Hundred ($2,500.00) Dollars, and said amount <br /> is hereby appropriated to cover emergency. <br /> Section 2: That there is hereby appropriated out of the revenues of <br /> the Water Department of the City of Everett , not in the Budget , the sum of <br /> Two Thousand Five Hundred ( 2,500.00) Dollars to pay said emergency expendi- <br /> tures, which said warrant or warrants shall be paid by the issuance of emer- <br /> gency warrants on said City Water Department revenues by the proper officers <br /> of -Everett as provided by law. <br /> Section 3: That it appearing that this ordinance and said appropria- <br /> tions are necessary for the good of the city of Everett, an emergency is <br /> hereby declared to exist bringing it within Section 6 of Chapter 158, of <br /> the Laws of Washington 1923, and this ordinance shall take effect immedi- <br /> ately upon its passage and publication. <br /> Mayor <br /> Attest : /' <br /> City Clerk <br /> Passed : February 27th, 1935. <br /> Published: March 1st, 1935• <br />
