City of Everett Inductive Charging Infrastructure for Field Installation 00 21 13 - 1 <br /> I <br /> SECTION 00 21 13 - INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS <br /> PART 1 -GENERAL <br /> 1.1 GENERAL DESCRIPTION AND LOCATION OF PROJECT <br /> A. The Work to be performed will include furnishing all labor, materials and equipment <br /> necessary to perform all Work as required by the Contract in accordance with the <br /> Contract Documents. <br /> B. The Project Site is located at College Station, Everett Station, and Seaway Transit <br /> Center. <br /> C. Questions and inquiries about the Contract Documents should be directed to the <br /> attention of Vincent Bruscas, City of Everett Project Manager at (425)257-6292 or email <br /> vbruscas@everettwa.gov. <br /> 1.2 STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS <br /> A. The following other Specifications and Standard Plans shall apply to the extent to which <br /> they are called out in the Contract Documents. <br /> 1. WSDOT "2021 Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge and Municipal <br /> Construction", as amended by the APWA Supplements, hereinafter referred to as <br /> the "Standard Specifications." <br /> 2. City of Everett "Design and Construction Standards and Specifications" (Revised <br /> 1-08), as found online on the City's Website at: https://everettwa.gov/319/Bid- <br /> Opportunities <br /> 3. "Standard Plans for Road and Bridge Construction," latest edition as prepared by <br /> WSDOT. <br /> 4. "Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices" (MUTCD), latest edition. <br /> 5. APWA Standards, latest edition. <br /> 6. AWWA Standards, latest edition. <br /> 7. American Concrete Institute (ACI), latest edition <br /> 1.3 EXAMINATION OF SITE CONDITIONS, CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND <br /> REGULATIONS <br /> • A. Bidders shall inspect the Site of the Work and carefully review the Contract Documents <br /> to satisfy themselves, by personal examination, physical testing, or by such other means <br /> as they may prefer, of the location of the proposed Work, the actual physical conditions <br /> of and at the Site, surface and subsurface conditions, and conditions ordinarily to be <br /> encountered and generally recognized as inherent in the Work. If, during the course or <br /> as a result of such inspection, examination and testing, a Bidder finds facts or conditions <br /> that appear to conflict or are omitted from the Contract Documents, or with other data or <br /> material made available relating to the Work, Bidder shall so notify the City in writing, <br /> 00 21 13 - 1 INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS <br />
