CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICATION <br /> Date of Authentication: May , 1998 <br /> This is the bond described in the within mentioned Bond Ordinance and is the Water and <br /> Sewer Revenue Refunding Bond, 1998, of the City of Everett, Washington, dated <br /> , 1998. <br /> TREASURER OF THE CITY OF EVERETT <br /> as Bond Registrar <br /> Section 8. Execution of Bond. The Bond shall be executed on behalf of the City with the <br /> manual or facsimile signature of the Mayor of the City and attested with the manual or facsimile <br /> signature of the Clerk thereof, and the seal of the City shall be impressed or imprinted on the <br /> Bond. In case any of the officers who shall have signed or attested the Bond shall cease to be <br /> such officer before the Bond has been actually issued and delivered, the Bond shall be valid <br /> nevertheless and may be issued by the City with the same effect as though the persons who had <br /> signed or attested the Bond had not ceased to be such officers. <br /> Only such Bond as shall bear thereon a Certificate of Authentication in the form set forth <br /> in Section 7 hereof, manually executed by the Bond Registrar, shall be valid or obligatory for <br /> any purpose or entitled to the benefits of this ordinance. Such Certificate of Authentication shall <br /> be conclusive evidence that the Bond so authenticated has been duly executed, authenticated and <br /> delivered hereunder and is entitled to the benefits of this ordinance. <br /> Section 9. Priority of Payments from Revenue Fund. A special fund of the City <br /> known as the "Water and Sewer Revenue Fund" has heretofore been established in the office of <br /> the Treasurer into which shall be deposited the Revenue of the System as collected, except the <br /> interest earned and income derived from investments of money in the Revenue Bond Fund and <br /> the accounts therein.
