ORDINANCE NO. 2617 <br /> An Ordinance vacating a portion of that certain street known and <br /> called Thompson Avenue, in Victory Heights Addition to Everett, from <br /> the south line of Colurabia Avenue, southerly between Blocks 23 and <br /> 24 to the south line of said Victory Heights Addition to Everett, all <br /> in Snohomish County, 'Jashington. <br /> ?'JHEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of the private prop- <br /> erty abutting upon that part of Thompson Avenue , Victory Heights Ad- <br /> dition to Everett, hereinafter described, duly filed their petition <br /> with the City Council of the City of Everett praying for the vacation <br /> of a portion of said street; and <br /> WHEREAS , said Council of said City did, by resolution, duly ad- <br /> opted, fix JULy Z 7 , 1934, at the hour of 10:30 o' clock A.k. <br /> of said day for the hearing and determination of said petition; and <br /> 'THERt AS, due and legal notice of the time and place of the hear- <br /> ing and determination of said petition has been duly given by the f:i- <br /> ty Clerk of the city as required by law; and <br /> WHEREAS , it appearing to the City Council that said petition <br /> should be granted and said City Council does hereby determine to va- <br /> cate said portion of said street: Now, Therefore , <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1. That that portion of Thompson Avenue, in Victory <br /> Heights Addition to Everett, from the south line of Columbia Avenue, <br /> southerly between Blocks 23 and 24 to the south line of said Victory <br /> Heights Addition to Everett, all in Snohomish County, Washington, be <br /> and the same hereby is vacated and the title to the land in said <br /> portion of said street above described is hereby declared to vest <br /> in the abutting property owners as provided by law. <br /> Mayor <br /> Attest: Mn�-('-% <br /> City Clerk <br /> Passed: ..1,ugust 8th, 1934. <br /> Published: August 9th, 1934. <br />
