The project also is replacing/upgrading transmission lines in the immediate area. Change Order One was for a sales tax rate increase. Change Order Two addressed changes related to unanticipated conditions discovered during construction. These included pipe size and location discrepancies within the reservoir site, additional surface restoration required, and changed operational needs. This Change Order Three addresses delays and construction changes related to an underground utility conflict. The new reservoir became operational on March 2, 2023. Remaining work includes on- site and off-site surface restoration with completion expected by Autumn 2023. Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign Change Order No. 3 with Walsh Company II, LLC in the amount of $1,820,126.08.
