The project also is replacing/upgrading transmission lines in the <br />immediate area. <br />Change Order One was for a sales tax rate increase. <br />Change Order Two addressed changes related to unanticipated conditions discovered <br />during construction. These included pipe size and location discrepancies within the <br />reservoir site, additional surface restoration required, and changed operational needs. <br />This Change Order Three addresses delays and construction changes related to an <br />underground utility conflict. <br />The new reservoir became operational on March 2, 2023. Remaining work includes on- <br />site and off-site surface restoration with completion expected by Autumn 2023. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign Change Order No. 3 with Walsh Company II, LLC in the <br />amount of $1,820,126.08. <br /> <br />
