The programmed available funding for the design phase is $4,500,000. Project summary statement: This project is one of the conveyance projects related to the PGSF program. It includes the design and construction of new large-diameter storm and combined sewer pipelines and manholes and rehabilitation/replacement of an existing 48-inch water main for combined sewer. This project also involves crossing pipelines under railroad tracks. This is one of several conveyance projects required for the PGSF program to meet the agreed order with Ecology. This ordinance will provide funding for the design phase of the improvement project. Upon completion of design, Public Works will return with a new ordinance that will include construction funding for Council consideration. Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): Adopt an Ordinance creating a Special Improvement Project entitled “PGSF WMVD Storm and Combined Sewer Improvements” Fund 336, Program 037.
