<br />Everett Transit 2023 TDP DRAFT 10 <br /> <br />Plan consistency <br />Everett Transit’s Transportation Development Plan is consistent and supported by the City of <br />Everett’s Comprehensive Plan which is adopted by the City Council. <br /> <br />Projects are first programmed into the City of Everett’s Transportation Improvement Program and <br />presented to City Council. <br /> <br />Everett Transit is a member of the Seattle/Everett/Tacoma Urbanized Area (UZA) and as such falls <br />under the metropolitan planning agency, the Puget Sound Regional Council (PSRC). Under the <br />guidance of PSRC grant funded projects are programmed into the State Transportation <br />Improvement Program (STIP). For each project, STIP applications indicate the section of the <br />comprehensive plan that supports it. <br /> <br />Planning and coordination efforts with regional transportation partners are facilitated at PSRC <br />through the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Caucus group, the Transit Operator’s Committee <br />(TOC) and the Regional Project Evaluation Committee (RPEC). Transit partners in the region work <br />very closely with one another to achieve integration of services. <br />
