26 Operation <br /> Loading Pellets <br /> Lift the hopper lid to its vertical position. Pour pellets into the hopper. <br /> NOTE: If the hopper lid is opened for more than 1 minute, the stove will enter shut down cycle. If this <br /> happens, simply restart the stove. <br /> WARNING:The top of the insert becomes hot during operation. Make sure to keep any flammable items <br /> (bag of pellets)away from the top while reloading. <br /> NOTE: Pull this knob to release hopper lid. NOTE: The insert will not run when the lid is open. <br /> 'rr - '�• -f v_i� <br /> Starting the Heater for the First Time <br /> Start the Heater- Let it Burn for 1 Hour-THEN OPEN THE DOOR. <br /> The insert paint is cured through heat. To prevent it from bonding to the door gasket, you must burn the <br /> heater for approximately 1 hour, then open and close the door to break any bonding. <br /> Curing the Paint Allow 48 hours <br /> This insert uses a heat-activated paint that will <br /> emit some fumes while starting the first fire. <br /> Open doors and windows to the room to vent _ <br /> these fumes. You may also notice oil burning <br /> off of the interior of the insert. This rust- <br /> stopping agent will soon dissipate.
