The estimated value of this contract is approximately $659,400 including Washington state sales tax. The responsive and responsible supplier with the lowest overall bid will be brought to Council for consideration and award. Project summary statement: Staff is requesting City Council authorize the issuance of the Invitation for Bid #2023-019 to receive sealed bids from suppliers to provide Stormwater Treatment Structures. The City of Everett received a Washington State Department of Ecology Water Quality Control Financial Assistance grant for the Beverly Lake Quality Retrofit Project. The project will install water quality treatment devices on existing stormwater systems upstream of Beverly Lake. The grant aims to improve the water quality in Beverly Lake on the City of Everett storm sewer system near discharge points to Beverly Lake. This project will provide treatment for total suspended solids. This solicitation will result in a supplier providing and delivering two (2) stormwater treatment structures that will be used to treat stormwater runoff to improve water quality. Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): Authorize the release of Invitation for Bid #2023-019 Stormwater Treatment Structures in the form substantially provided.
