August 16, 2023 <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., August 16, 2023, <br />by President Stonecipher. <br /> <br />Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin, and Council Members Rhyne, Schwab, Fosse, <br />Zarlingo, Vogeli, Tuohy, and President Stonecipher were present. <br /> <br />Council Member Tuohy led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Council Member Schwab read the land acknowledgement. <br /> <br />The minutes of the August 9, 2023, City Council meeting were approved. <br /> <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin provided a brief update on the upcoming special events occurring within the City: <br /> <br />8/19 Schack Arts Center Fresh Paint <br />8/26 Funko Funfest <br />8/26 Wheels on the Waterfront <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />Council received no written comments and the following members of the public spoke: Emily <br />Simpson, Storm Chandler, and Leo Lorge. <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />Comments and liaison reports were provided by council members. <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> <br />Government Affairs Director Jennifer Gregerson provided an update that Administration has <br />scheduled a briefing on the Bike Master Plan on October 11th. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br />
