Remove valve and install solid cap on ice maker line. <br />Bring previously unpermitted water heater up to code. <br />1 Relief line disconnected. Exhaust Venting has metal splices. Metal can't be used for this type of water heater unless it's corrosion resistant and <br />approved per tank manufacturer. This tank cannot be used unless installed with the strict provisions laid down by the IRC and <br />UPC 504.1 Location, and per manufactures installation instructions. During last visit we were told that the room downstairs was not a bedroom though <br />clearly it is?M2005.2 Prohibited LocationsFuel-fired water heaters shall not be installed in a room used as a storage closet. Water heaters located in a <br />bedroom or bathroom shall be installed in a sealed enclosure so that combustion air will not be taken from the living space. Installation of direct -vent <br />water heaters within an enclosure is not required.
