August 23, 2023 <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br /> <br />2023-2028 EVERETT TRANSIT DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND 2022 ANNUAL REPORT <br /> <br />President Stonecipher opened the public hearing regarding the 2023-2028 Transit Development <br />Plan and 2022 Annual report. <br /> <br />Melinda Adams and Tom Hingson, Everett Transit, presented the Transit Development Plan and <br />Annual report and answered Council questions. <br /> <br />The following member of the public spoke: Joe Kunzler. <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Zarlingo, seconded by Council Member Tuohy, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council Member Schwab, who was <br />excused. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />2044 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN PERIODIC UPDATE <br /> <br />President Stonecipher opened the public hearing regarding the proposed resolution of the City <br />of Everett advancing the 2044 Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update draft growth alternatives <br />and certain specific amendment requests to be studied in an environmental impact statement. <br /> <br />Yorik Stevens-Wajda and Becky McCrary, Planning, provided an overview of the proposed <br />resolution to advance the 2044 Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update. <br /> <br />The following members of the public spoke: Kristin Hall, John Witters, Laura Gurley, David <br />Mascarenas, Doug Everley, Paul Clark , Clarence Corcoran, Bob Kerr, Melinda Bargreen, and David <br />Koenig, <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Zarlingo, seconded by Council Member Rhyne, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council Member Schwab, who was <br />excused.
