Take such action as may be necessary, or as the AGENT <br />may direct, for the protection and preservation of the <br />property related to this contract, which is in the possession <br />of the GRANTEE and in which the AGENCY has or may <br />acquire an interest. <br />TRAFFICKING VICTIMS PROTECTION ACT <br />As described in 2 CFR Part 175 the AGENCY may terminate <br />this contract, without penalty, if the GRANTEE is found to be in <br />violation of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000. <br />UNIFORM ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS FOR <br />GRANTS AND COOPERATIVE AGREEMENTS <br />The GRANTEE shall comply with the uniform administrative <br />rules for Federal grants and cooperative agreements and <br />subawards contained in 2 CFR Part 200 and as appropriate for <br />this contract: <br />Federal Grantor Agency 2 CFR Chapter <br />Environmental Protection Agency XV <br />WAIVER <br />A failure by either party to exercise its rights under this contract <br />shall not preclude that party from subsequent exercise of such <br />rights and shall not constitute a waiver of any other rights under <br />this contract unless stated to be such in a writing signed by an <br />authorized representative of the party and attached to the original <br />contract. <br />WHISTLEBLOWER PROTECTION <br />If this contract exceeds the federal simplified acquisition threshold <br />of $100,000 the contract and all employees working on the <br />contract are subject to the whistleblower protections established <br />at 41 USC 4712 by section 828 of the National Defense <br />Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2013. If subject to this statute <br />the Grantee shall inform their employees in writing, in the <br />predominant language of the workforce, of the employee <br />whistleblower rights and protections under 41 USC 4712.
