From: Tawnya Herman
Sent: Monday, June 21, 2021 1:07 PM
To: chriss@steeleec.com; travis@steeleec.com
Subject: E2106-163 - 3535 RIVERFRONT BLVD, app not complete
I have received your permit for underground electrical work — and I am needing to follow up to see if
you are understanding that the project may have additional requirements as it is subject to the following
restriction:
This property has been identified as a potential methane hazard zone. Methane hazard mitigation
measures for the protection of structures for life safety is required for all construction activities. All
enclosed structures (above ground or below ground, including vaults) shall be protected from potential
methane migration. It is the owner/contractor's responsibility to ensure that all requirements are
followed per the handout titled "Construction Within a Potential Methane Hazard Zone" available on
the Permit Services webpage. See handout and map attached to the LandTRAK record.
Can you provide for me:
Who the work is for, a site plan showing specifically where the trenching will be done; also — fi the
work is for a City of Everett project, who are you working with within the City of Everett? Is the
trenching out in the open or is it in an enclosed structure such as a building, vault, manhole?
Thank you!
Tawnya Herman
Permit Technician I Permit Services
425.257.8810 1 3200 Cedar Street, 2 "d Floor, Everett, WA 98201
Hours: M/W/Th/F: 7:30am-12:OOpm & 1:OOpm-3:OOpm; Tu: 1:OOpm-3:OOpm
everettwa.gov I Facebook I Twitter
Note: Emails and attachments sent to and from the City of Everett are public records and may be subject to disclosure pursuant
to the Public Records Act.
