The anticipated costs are based on past usage. <br />The anticipated annual contract value is $352,000, including Washington state sales tax. <br />Project summary statement: <br />Staff is requesting City Council to Award Request for Proposal (RFP) #2023-096 for <br />Bioxide Supply for the city to continue the odor and control program for targeted <br />locations and perform routine services on the chemical storage and dosing systems. <br />In addition to cost, city staff evaluated the ability to provide product delivery that is <br />compatible with the City’s chemical storage and dosing system, the ability to maintain <br />the chemical delivery and metering systems, and expertise in delivering chemical dosage <br />monitoring and technical assistance, as well as the ability to furnish monthly chemical <br />monitoring reports to facilitate successful odor control. <br />The Request for Proposal was released on July 27, 2023. It was advertised in the Herald <br />and published on the City’s website. One Response was received from Evoqua Water <br />Technologies LLC. The Evaluation team found the proposal to be very thorough. Evoqua <br />Water Technologies response received a score of 374 out of a possible 400 points. <br />Therefore, staff is requesting award to Evoqua Water Technologies, which would allow <br />the City to maintain its current odor and corrosion control program. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Award Request for Proposal #2023-096 for Bioxide Supply and Service to Evoqua Water <br />Technologies LLC for a two-year contract with four, one-year optional renewals for <br />approximately $352,000 per year including Washington state sales tax.
