Human Needs funds run a Program Year that is consistent with the City’s <br />fiscal year, January 1 – December 31. Annual Priorities and Award Recommendations are <br />established through a public hearing held by the Citizen Advisory Committee and enacted <br />through City Council action in the form of a Resolution. <br />On August 8, 2023, the Citizen Advisory Committee held a public hearing and established priority <br />needs for the 2024 Program Year. <br />A council briefing is scheduled for September 6, 2023, with proposed action following on <br />September 13, 2023. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Adopt Resolution concerning 2024 Human Needs Priorities.
