-41 <br /> w <br /> of such local improvement district; all such lots, tracts and parcels of land <br /> or other property may be included in one certificate ; such certificate shall be <br /> prepared by the city treasurer of iverett once each year prior to the first <br /> day of September. <br /> Upon the filing of such certificate , the city treasurer, with the assistance <br /> of the city attorney and such other assistance as the city council may provide, <br /> shall proceed with such foreclosure and prosecute such foreclosure action to <br /> judgment, and the property shall be sold, all as provided in Section 9386 of Fem- <br /> ington's Compiled Statutes of ;Washington, as now amended or as the same may here- <br /> after be amended. <br /> Provided, however, that this ordinance shall not be deemed to affect pending <br /> foreclosure actions, but that such actions now pending for the foreclosure of <br /> delinquent local improvement district assessment shall be completed under and pur- <br /> suant to the ordinances and statutes existing at +• +tme of the institution of <br /> such actions. <br /> Section 2. The city of Everett elects to foreclose in the manner provided : n <br /> Section 9386 of Remington's Compiled Statutes of Washington, as now amended or as <br /> the same may hereafter be amended, the lien of any local improvement district as- <br /> sessment created prior to June 8, 1927, and cause deed to issue , but as to any <br /> such property purchased by the city of Everett at such foreclosure the same shall <br /> be held and sold by said city of Everett under and pursuant to the provisions of <br /> law in force and effect prior to June 8, 1927. <br /> Section 3. That Sections 11 and 13 of Ordinance No . 1439, and Ordinance No. <br /> 2369 of the city of Everett be and the same are hereby repealed. <br /> Section 4.
