-41 w of such local improvement district; all such lots, tracts and parcels of land or other property may be included in one certificate ; such certificate shall be prepared by the city treasurer of iverett once each year prior to the first day of September. Upon the filing of such certificate , the city treasurer, with the assistance of the city attorney and such other assistance as the city council may provide, shall proceed with such foreclosure and prosecute such foreclosure action to judgment, and the property shall be sold, all as provided in Section 9386 of Fem- ington's Compiled Statutes of ;Washington, as now amended or as the same may here- after be amended. Provided, however, that this ordinance shall not be deemed to affect pending foreclosure actions, but that such actions now pending for the foreclosure of delinquent local improvement district assessment shall be completed under and pur- suant to the ordinances and statutes existing at +• +tme of the institution of such actions. Section 2. The city of Everett elects to foreclose in the manner provided : n Section 9386 of Remington's Compiled Statutes of Washington, as now amended or as the same may hereafter be amended, the lien of any local improvement district as- sessment created prior to June 8, 1927, and cause deed to issue , but as to any such property purchased by the city of Everett at such foreclosure the same shall be held and sold by said city of Everett under and pursuant to the provisions of law in force and effect prior to June 8, 1927. Section 3. That Sections 11 and 13 of Ordinance No . 1439, and Ordinance No. 2369 of the city of Everett be and the same are hereby repealed. Section 4.
