• •
Drew Martin
From: Drew Martin
Sent: Wednesday, October 26, 2022 3:23 PM
To: justin.harding@centimark.com
Subject: City of Everett Permit Services: 2628 Colby Avenue (B2210-040) - First Building Intake
Review
Hello,Justin.
Your application has been received and a permit set up. However, the submitted documents are not
sufficiently developed for us to perform a comprehensive review at this time.
Construction-level documents should be submitted for review. Two complete sets of the revised drawings
should be submitted to replace the previously submitted drawing sets. Preliminary comments are provided
below to assist in preparing the drawings, but these are not intended to provide a comprehensive review. The
resubmittal documents should include an itemized response letter clarifying how the review comments below
have been addressed. Depending on your experience with the adopted codes and preparing documents, we
recommend consulting with a design professional to assist you.
Intake Review Comments:
1. The submit sketches are not clear on the extent of the proposed work. Revised drawings clearly
showing the proposed work should be submitted for review. See IBC Section 107.2.1.
2. The proposed work includes exposing and removing the existing insulation. The insulation appears to
be located entirely above the roof deck based on a review of the original construction drawings. The
reroof is required to insulate the roof to the minimum requirements per WSEC Section C503.3.1.
Review of your project will be performed in the order received once the required documentation has been
submitted. Please let me know if you have questions.
Drew Martin, P.E.,S.E.Li
iii
Associate Engineer—Commercial Plans Examiner I Permit Services
425.257.8810 13200 Cedar Street, 2nd Floor, Everett,WA 98201
EVERETT Phone Hours: M/W/T: 8 am - 12 pm & 1 pm—3 pm;Tu: 1:OOpm-3:OOpm
everettwa.gov/permits I Facebook I Twitter
Note:Emails and attachments sent to and from the City of Everett are public records and may be subject to disclosure pursuant to the Public
Records Act.
1
