Included in the Comprehensive Plan is a <br />Transportation Element, which develops transportation and transit policies and <br />improvements to support the planned growth over the next 20-year planning horizon. <br />Additionally, Transit is utilizing Fehr & Peers to provide needed support in the public <br />outreach process for the development of the 2024 Transit Long Range Plan, which <br />significantly influences the Comprehensive Plan update. <br />Fehr & Peers was selected through a multi-departmental selection process. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign the Professional Services Agreement with Fehr & Peers for <br />the 2024-2044 Comprehensive Plan Transportation Element update and 2024 Transit <br />Long Range Plan in the amount of $578,191.00.
