Amendment 1 PSA with Brown and Caldwell for Port Gardner Storage Facility Project <br />Exhibit A Scope of Work <br />15 <br />Analysis Method <br />Petroleum Hydrocarbons – gasoline NWTPH-Gx <br />Petroleum Hydrocarbons – diesel, oil NWTPH-Dx <br />RCRA 8 Metals (Ag, As, Ba, Cd, Cr, Hg, Pb, and Se) EPA 6010D / 6020B / 7471B / 200.7/ <br />200.8 / 7470A <br />Hexavalent Chromium SM 3500-Cr B <br />Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) EPA #8260D <br />Semivolatile Organic Compounds (SVOCs) <br />with low level PAHs <br />EPA #8270E/SIM <br />Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) EPA #8082A <br />Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) EPA 1311/1312 <br /> <br />• Develop intermediate and final design requirements for the deep soil mixing or jet grouting cutoff <br />wall west of the following facilities: <br />− Lift Station 46 <br />− Effluent Pump Station <br />− Stormwater Treatment foundation expansion <br />• Develop recommendations for onsite conveyance pipeline subgrade support (i.e., buried pile <br />supports). <br />• Update geologic cross-sections and seismic design parameters. <br />• Conduct engineering analysis for geotechnical design including liquefaction, settlement <br />calculations, foundation analysis, and constructability review. <br />• Develop recommendations and design parameters for contractor designs related to means and <br />methods including but not limited to dewatering, contaminated soils, temporary excavations, <br />settlement, and shoring systems. <br />• Update Geotechnical Data Report with findings from additional borings and site investigations. <br />• Update Geotechnical Engineering Report to include Lift Station 46 design and modifications to <br />the Effluent Pump Station and Stormwater Treatment design. <br />− The preliminary design Geotechnical Engineering Report will be revised as part of <br />intermediate (60%) design. <br />− Revised preliminary Geotechnical Engineering Report will be updated following intermediate <br />design and finalized for the project Bid Documents. <br />• Develop geotechnical specifications for the intermediate (60%), final (90%), and Bid Document <br />packages. Geotechnical lead specification development will include Jet Grouting. <br />− Incorporate BC and City review comments into specifications at intermediate and final design <br />stages. <br />− Stamp and seal geotechnical specifications for the PGSF Project bid backage. <br />• Provide input for geotechnical related specifications developed by BC design team. <br />− BC developed specifications to including but not limited to Sections 01 11 10 Geotechnical <br />Information, 31 23 00 Excavation and Fill, 31 23 19 Dewatering, 31 41 00 Shoring, 33 05 <br />30 Settlement Monitoring, and contaminated soils handling. <br />• Provide review of up to 5 Contractor submittals related to above specification sections.
