• f v r- - <br /> • <br /> •.f. <br /> r 1 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2566, <br /> An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 2513, entitled as follows, to-wit: <br /> "An Ordinance relating to, and providing for, the licensing and regu- <br /> lating of certain occupations, businesses, vocations, trades, callings, amuse- <br /> ments, places and establishments, places of amusements, exhibitions, enter- <br /> tainments, animals, motor vehicles, defining offenses, providing penalties; <br /> providing for the revocation and suspension of licenses; repealing Ordinances - <br /> No. 2196, 853, 1301, 1503, 1583, 1585, 1595, 1598, 1771, 1851, 1932, 1941, <br /> 1948, 1964, 2087, 2182, 2249, 2333, 2370, and 2038, and all other ordinances <br /> or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith" by amending Section 92 of said <br /> Ordinance No. 2513 relating to the compensation which the Poundmaster is to <br /> receive in the performance of his duties, and declaring an emergency. <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Section 92 of Ordinance No. 2513 be amended so as to <br /> read as follows, to-wit: <br /> Section 92: Said Poundmaster shall receive in full compensation for <br /> his services, the following fees, to-wit: $.50 for each dog license sold; <br /> .25 for each cat license sold; $1 .50 for each cow or horse impounded; $.75 <br /> for each dog killed; $.25 for each cat killed . Said Compensation for each <br /> month shall be paid on regular vouchers in the same manner as other bills <br /> against said city are paid; provided, that the total compensation said Pound- <br /> matter shall receive shall not exceed the sum of One Thousand (11000.00) <br /> Dollars in any one (1) year . <br /> Section 2: An emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance <br /> shall take effect immediately upon its passage and publication. <br /> Mayor <br /> Attest • <br /> City Clerk <br /> Passed: January 11th , 1933. <br /> Published: " 13th , 1933. <br />
