, ,* ee • <br /> 1.4 <br /> ORDINANCE NO . 2561 1 <br /> An Ordinance relating to intoxicating liquor, repealing re.dinance No . <br /> 2157 and all other Ordinances and parts of Crdinances in conflict therewith, <br /> prohibiting the sale of such liquors to minors and Inners , and declaring Rn <br /> emergency. <br /> TIC CITY OF EVEFETT FOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Ordinance No . 2157 entitled: <br /> "An Ordinance relating to intoxicatng liquor, the manufacture , sale , trans.. <br /> portation, disposition, possession, and use of intoxicating liquor within the <br /> City of 'Everett, prescribing the forms of procedure and rules of evidence in <br /> cases and proceedings hereunder, and fixing penalties, and repealing all other <br /> ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith" <br /> approved September 30, 1924, be , and the same hereby is repealed , end the re- <br /> peal of such ordinance shall not be construed or held to revive or in any wise <br /> make effective any ordinance providing for the licensing or operation of sa- <br /> loons or other buzinees of a like nature for the sale of intoxicating liquor <br /> in the City of Everett . <br /> Section 2: It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or give to a <br /> minor or an Indian in The City of Everett any intoxicating liquor. <br /> Section 3: Any person violating any prov1s5ons of this -'e•dinance shall <br /> upon conviction be punished by a fine of not to exceed $300.e0 or by imprison- <br /> ment not to exceed 90 days in the 'A.ty Jal or by both such fine and imprison- <br /> ment . <br /> Section 4: An emergency exists and it is necessary for the preserva- <br /> tion of the peace , health and safety of the City of Overett that this Ordi- <br /> nawie shall take effect immediately, and an emergency is hereby declared and <br /> this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage <br /> and publication. <br /> fttest: //' <br /> City Clerk <br /> Passed: recember 7th, <br /> 193 . <br /> ublished: recember 8th , 1932. <br />
