Y , <br /> 4 . <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2560 <br /> An Ordinance providing for emergency expenditures and the transfer of funds <br /> which are in the budget for the year 1932 in the departments of the Attorney, <br /> City Hall, Clerk, Commissioners , Engineer, Fire, Health, Police Court, Police , <br /> Treasurer, Library, Park and Water, all of the City of Everett, Washington, mak- <br /> ing appropriations or transfers thereof within the same general classes with no <br /> increase in the budget appropriation, providing for the issuance of warrants, <br /> and declaring an emergency: <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1. That an emergency exists which could not have been reasonably <br /> foreseen at the time of the making of the budget for the year 1932 (to-wit: <br /> October, 1931); that some of the items in the budget as appropriated for the <br /> said year in the departments of the Attorney, City Hall, Clerk, Commissioners, <br /> Engineer, Fire, Health, Police Court, Police , Treasurer, Library, Park and <br /> `,Dater, all in the City of Everett , are more than sufficient for the classifi- <br /> cation named and some of the items of other classifications as appropriated are <br /> insufficient ; that there are sufficient funds in all departments within the <br /> same general class of the budget to pay all amounts that would be a lawful charge <br /> against the same; that an emergency has arisen which necessitates certain trans- <br /> fers of funds and appropriation in the budget to take care of these deficiencies <br /> and to meet the necessary expenses of the items which are too small for the bal- <br /> ance of the fiscal year, the estimated total amount of said transfers being in <br /> the sum of 415644.62; that the several departments out of which said transfers <br /> are made and the items in the budget to which the transfers are made , are as <br /> follows, to-wit : <br /> CITY ATTORNEY: Transfer, from Telephone and Telegraph fund to the <br /> Stationery and Printing fund the sum of `10.00 <br /> Transfer from Transportation Fund to Statement of <br /> Fact fund the sum of 15 .00 <br /> CITY HALL: Transfer from Lighting and .cater Fund to Miscel- <br /> laneous Building Expenses the sum of 50.00 <br /> CITY CLERK: Transfer from Legal Publications fund to the 'tele- <br /> phone and 'Telegraph fund the sum of 25 .00 <br /> Transfer from Legal Publications fund to the Equip- <br /> ment Repairs fund the sum of 25.00 <br /> -1- <br />
