CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br />Beverly Lake Water Quality Retrofit Division 1 – GENERAL REQUIREMENTS August 2023 <br />WO No – UP3745 SP – 148 <br />1-11.11 Contractor Registration <br />Contractor represents and warrants it is a contractor duly registered and in good standing <br />with the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries. <br />1-11.12 Electronic Signature <br />Signatures on Change Orders or any other Contract Document or any other document <br />referred to herein may be by ink signature, AdobeSign, DocuSign, or any other e-signature <br />method or any pdf scan thereof, and any such signature will have full force and effect. <br />1-11.13 Washington State Department of Ecology Grant Related <br />Requirements <br />The Contractor must comply with the following requirements, which are conditions of the <br />grant funding provided by the Washington Stated Department of Ecology. These are in <br />addition to, and do not replace, other requirements in the Standard Specifications and the <br />Special Provisions. <br /> <br /> <br />Access to the construction site and to records <br />The Contractor shall provide for the safe access to the construction site and to the <br />contractor's records by Washington State Department of Ecology personnel. <br /> <br />The Contractor shall maintain accurate records and accounts to facilitate the City’s audit <br />requirements and shall ensure that all subcontractors maintain auditable records. <br /> <br />These Project records shall be separate and distinct from the Contractor’s other records and <br />accounts. <br /> <br />All such records shall be available to the City and to Washington State Department of Ecology <br />personnel for examination. All records pertinent to this project shall be retained by the <br />Contractor for a period of three (3) years after the final audit. <br /> <br />
