CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> <br />Beverly Lake Water Quality RetrofitDivision B – BID DESCRIPTIONS August 2023 <br />WO No. – UP3745 SP - 32 <br /> <br />The lump sum price includes, but is not limited to, excavation, construction of the cast in <br />place cement concrete structure, backfill and compaction of the water quality treatment <br />structure, connection to storm drains and installation of the internal components. All <br />components associated with the structure shall be included in the lump sum price including, <br />but not limited to, handrails, steps, filtration media, internal piping, concrete inlets within the <br />structure boundaries, mulch, and plant materials and establishment. The lump sum price <br />shall include all bedding, gravel borrow, or other soil material associated with the water quality <br />structure, including haul. <br /> <br />The lump sum price includes, but is not limited to, providing and installing filtration media, <br />initial cleaning, commissioning, any documentation and all required maintenance and <br />guarantees described herein. <br /> <br />Bid Item 24 - Hydrodynamic Pretreatment #1 <br />Measurement and Payment: Unit Price Per Each <br /> <br />The unit price per each for the Hydrodynamic Pretreatment #1 shall be full compensation for <br />all labor, materials, incidentals, tools and equipment necessary to satisfactorily complete the <br />work as defined in these Contract Documents. including fabrication and installation. <br /> <br />Bid Item 25 - Hydrodynamic Pretreatment #2 <br />Measurement and Payment: Unit Price Per Each <br /> <br />The unit price per each for the Hydrodynamic Pretreatment #2 shall be full compensation for <br />all labor, materials, incidentals, tools and equipment necessary to satisfactorily complete the <br />work as defined in these Contract Documents. including fabrication and installation. <br /> <br />Bid Item 26 - Flow Splitter <br />Measurement and Payment: Unit Price Per Each <br />The unit price per each for Flow Splitter of the size and type shown in the Drawings shall be <br />full compensation for all labor, materials, incidentals, tools and equipment necessary to <br />satisfactorily complete the work as defined in these Contract Documents, including <br />fabrication and installation. <br /> <br />Bid Item 27 - HMA, CL 1/2” PG 64-22 <br />Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Ton (TON) <br />Measurement for HMA, CL 1/2” PG 64-22 shall be by the ton, recorded on certified weight <br />tickets in accordance with 1-09.2 WEIGHING EQUIPMENT for HMA placed within the limits <br />of dimensions defined in the Work or shown on the Plans, Standard Specifications, Section <br />5-06 of these Special Provisions, or as otherwise approved by the Engineer. The <br />measurement and payment limits for measuring the width of this bid item shall not exceed <br />the saw-cut limits shown on the Drawings. No deduction will be made for the weight of <br />asphalt binder, blending sand, mineral filler, or other component of the mixture. <br />The unit price for this bid item shall include all labor, materials, equipment and related work <br />necessary to furnish, machine-place, compact, roll and perform density tests on multiple lifts
